Gassin is located in the middle of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, perched on a rocky promontory less than 4 km from the sea.
The village has retained its winding streets and picturesque old houses. Its geographical location is quite exceptional: it overlooks a landscape of vineyards, wooded areas, and the Gulf of Saint Tropez! From the rampart terrace, a magnificent landscape stretches from the Golden Islands to the snowy peaks of the Alps, passing through the Massif des Maures. On the seafront, Port Gassin is being built as a continuation of the already existing lake complexes: Port Grimaud and the Cogolin marinas. The Templars left many traces there.
