The beach of Pampelonne

Saint Tropez surroundings

Extended over 27 ha of an exceptional fine sand, the beach of Pampelonne is a magnificent escape, encircled by Cape Camarat to the south, Cape Pinet to the north and by numerous meadows, pine forests, vineyards and campsites to the west.

It is the ideal place to benefit from a romantic stroll in the heart of a beautiful setting. There are several restaurants in the area, to suit all tastes! The beach of Pampelonne provides a quiet and harmonious atmosphere. It is advisable to frequent this beach in the pre-season to better appreciate the sea with fewer tourists in the surrounding areas.

It is one of the must-see places to visit in Saint-Tropez. It is very large, which gives more space for everyone, and offers easy access to the ocean. During the summer, numerous events are in full swing on the beach: animation, beach volleyball, nautical competitions... Millions of little pleasures to bring happiness to the amateur yachtsman!

With its large space, it is so very nice to appreciate a picnic between families at the beach of Pampelonne. The sea is calm, the breeze very beautiful ... Come to dive in a transparent and turquoise water and live fully your adventure on the edge of this magnificent treasure of Saint-Tropez! Children will not lose their feet easily with their gentle slopes ... In this way, let the little ones make the most of some freedom while having fun in the sea!

During off-season periods, some dried seaweed are observed near the shore. This is done purposely to preserve the sand and prevents it from being sucked by the currents. However, you can ask service to the municipality to clean up the surroundings and that’s all there is to it! Also, it is necessary to know that the parking is charged (4.5 euros a day), a reasonable price to benefit from such splendor!

If you want to have some change of scenery, be aware that Pampelonne beach shelters  other private sites where you can also get pure moments of happiness in a privileged and high quality setting. It is divided into 5 sectors including the Moulins, Tamaris, Patch, Les Barraques and Bonne Terrasse.

It is undoubtedly obvious that this is the most famous beach of the whole peninsula of Saint-Tropez located in the town of Ramatuelle. It extends for nearly 5 km to offer more space for visitors. For your next vacation, we recommend you to take a trip to this tourist site where you will make beautiful memories with family !
