Holiday in Saint Tropez

Escalet is a wonderful beach located between Cap Camarat and Cape Taillat. Amateurs yachtsman often find it hard to spot. To reach the sea, you will have to take the path leading to the avenue of Casabianca. Then you have to go to the avenue Escudier to land at the paid parking (4 euros a day). You are there!

A pure treasure of nature, the beach L'Escalet is pleasantly divine by the sight, but also to the touch. Its clear and translucent water heats up at noon, especially in summer, where the sun remains on its best position at the zenith. It also offers magnificent gray and polished rocks where, on their top, you can bask and benefit from the weather under a resting skin.

The clear sea of l'Escalet will allow you to discover its seabed with a surprising and contrasted biodiversity. The more sporty ones can give themselves over to kayaking and sail on quiet water without waves. It is a very family friendly beach ideal for children. However, make sure that toddlers do not rub against a rocky area, as this could be dangerous for them.

L'Escalet is supervised during the summer periods. It is advisable to leave early if you want to find a suitable place for your family. Indeed, it is one of the most frequented sites in Saint-Tropez. Nevertheless, if you walk a little further, the Escalet offers beautiful intimate sandy coves and less invaded.

Cape Taillat

A magnificent wild beach of the coast of Saint-Tropez, Cape Taillat is a delightful treasure located between the district of La Croix Valmer and that of Ramatuelle. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that it is divided into 2. On one side, it is sandy and on the other it is pleasantly rich. It is one of the natural treasures that has more than 2.5 km of well-harmonized and maintained path.

How to reach the beach? It is necessary that you know that you will have to walk for 35 minutes from the parking before you find yourself at the seaside. The itinerary that leads to Cape Taillat is as follows: follow the road which takes towards the road of Escalet then turn to the right. Continue without changing course up to 300 m and then along the path that leads to the private domain which ends at the end of the parking (paying in summer).

The beach is crammed with tourists during the summer seasons. However, if you are looking for a more peaceful place, you can stop at the small, discreet coves squatted by a few naturists. Cape Taillat is decorated among other things by a verdant nature of pinewood and vineyard trails making the places even more charming. The site is meticulously supervised during the summer and is always cleaned to bring happiness to the yachtsman.
